Steven Luu

Steven Luu by Ted SealeyI am currently a postgraduate student under the supervision of Prof. Nalini Joshi.
I have been studying the asymptotics of discrete equations. In particular, I have been looking into a class of problem known as q-discrete equations and trying to find a q-analogue for regular and exponential asymptotic methods.
I completed my honours year in 2013 under Prof. Joshi and Dr Christopher Lustri, studying exponential asymptotics of both continuous and discrete equations.
Exponentially small waves present in the Frenkel Kontorova Model

Exponentially small waves present in the far-field solution of the Frenkel-Kontorova model. The magnitude vanishes on the discrete points for which the solution is defined on.
